Student Quiz

After activating "Turn editing on", you can choose from a variety of different options under "Add material or activity", including the "Student Quiz".

The Moodle activity "Student Quiz" enables students to create a question pool in Moodle. During creating the quiz you have to specify which question types (for example, true / false, multiple choice, assignment) can be used by the students. You can also define the weighting of the points system as a teacher during the creation of the quiz.

After creating the quiz, students can now add their questions and be assessed and commented on by the other students in the course (in terms of difficulty). The students get points for creating and answering questions.
Also the teacher of the course can evaluate the questions and approve if the question should be included in the pool.

The questions can be filtered with simple settings.

Answering and creating questions displays the progress and ranking in Moodle. With this, every student can see which score he or she has achieved so far.

You can continue to use the questions for other courses by integrating the questions created into the Moodleactivity test. Some lecturers promise to take over the best questions in the exam. In addition, this motivates to deal thoroughly with the subject matter, the questioning and the questions of the fellow students, e.g. with regard to the exam preparation.
