This article explains how to set up your microphone under Windows 10.
  1. Connect your microphone to your PC. If your microphone is not automatically detected, right-click the sound icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar sounds.PNG
  2. Select the item "Sounds".
  3. At this point, switch to the "Recording" tab. Mark your microphone here. This is the microphone with the USB audio codec, for example, if you have connected the device via the USB interface.mikro1.PNG
  4. Click on the "Set Default" button. The microphone is now set as the default.
  5. If your microphone is not working properly yet, click on the "Configure" button at the bottom left of the screen. At this point select "Set up microphone"
  6. Now select the type of microphone you want to use. Choose between a "Headset microphone", a "Desktop microphone" or "Other".
  7. Then confirm twice by clicking on "Next".
  8. Speak the displayed text into the microphone and then click "Next".
  9. Finally, click on "Finish".
Some USB headsets have a mute button. Verify that the mute is unmuted and the volume is adjusted.
