Groups in Mahara

Groups in Mahara are making it easy for you to work together, communicate and to share datas and files with others.

Since Mahara is a tool with community functions, group administration is one of the main functions of Mahara.

Let's dive into the most important tools Mahara has to offer: (3 in total)

1. How to create a group

When your Dashboard pops up, you will have to click on the top right corner on the bar and than choose groups.

Afterwards, you will simply have to choose Create group and you will be able to create a group from scratch, give it a group name, add a description and manage all kinds of privacy as well as membership settings.

2. How to find and join groups

Once again, within the my groups section you will be able to find all the groups that you have joined, been invited to as well as the ones you own.

If you are looking for other groups or members you will simply have to choose groups and you can look for the necessary information.

3. How to adminsitor existing groups

Last but not least, after creating a group you can still edit the group information and change other settings as well.
In order to do so, you will find the little gear symbol next to settings where you can do such things.
