The Forum

The forum is a great tool in order to communicate within a course. Instructors can share important information with their students via the forum Announcements/Ankündigungen.

While the forum Announcements/Ankündigungen is exclusively for instructors to share announcements, an additional forum can be helpful for students to communicate with each other during the online phases.

Set up an additional forum

In order to set up a new forum, change to the Course Editing Mode and add a new material or activity - in this case, choose the forum as a new activity. Following this, configure the new added forum - you can find some help on the official Moodle homepage: Forum Settings.
