Customize filters

Each Moodle course can contain custom filters.
This is especially advantageous if you use formulas in lectures and they are not displayed correctly, as in this example:

Then you can adjust the filters so that the formulas are displayed correctly.



How to change the settings of the filters:
1.Open the corresponding Moodle course and click on the gear in the upper right corner of the course name to get to the course administration.
2. A drop-down menu will open. There you click on "Filters".

By default, all filters are set to "Default(On)".

To solve the problem of displaying formulas, set the "MathJax" filter to "On" and the "TeX Notation" filter to "Off" and press "Save Changes".

After that all formulas should be displayed correctly.
