Which tools for communicating are available in your course?

The Forum Ankündigungen

The forum Ankündigungen exists in every course. It only works in one direction, which means that only teacher are able to create announcements. Studies can read the announcements but are not allowed to answer them. You subscribe automatically to the forum Ankündigungen, so you also get the announcements forwarded to you email address. You cannot unsubscribe the forum Ankündigungen because this forum is for general and important information for your course.

More Forums

The teacher can create as many forums in each course as needed. You can use these courses actively. You are not automatically subscribed to these forums. Therefore you can click in the forum adjustments under "Forum Administration" at "Subscribe to this forum".

Notifications

Over the notifications, you and your teacher can communicate as well. The notifications are shown in the upper right corner of your Moodle page with a little symbol.

You can click on this symbol and see your notifications.
