Switching Roles

See the course through someone else's eyes

As an instructor, your rights and options in your course are different from those of the students. As you design your course, it may be useful to look what the course looks like to students.

Therefore Moodle provides the function "Switch role to...".

1. You open the Dropdown-Menu at the right top of your course (just right to your name) and scroll to "Switch role to...".

2. Here you chose the role "Participant / Student".

Now you have the role "Participant / Student" and the course page changes.

3. In order to change your original role back to "Instructor / Teacher", click on "Return to my normal role" in the Dropdown-Menu at the top.
